Nigerian music star Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has become one of the most recognizable names in the modern Afrobeats scene. His music blends Afrobeats with Fuji, street-pop, rap and traditional Nigerian sounds, creating a style that has connected with fans both at home and around the world.
Asake studied Theatre and Dramatic Arts at Obafemi Awolowo University before turning his focus fully to music. His career reached a major turning point in 2022 when he signed with YBNL Nation, owned by Nigerian rapper Olamide. That same year, he released his debut album Mr. Money with the Vibe, which helped establish him as a major force in African music.
He went on to release Work of Art in 2023, Lungu Boy in 2024 and M$NEY in 2026, working with major international artists along the way.
