Cardi B

Cardi B, born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar on October 11, 1992, in New York City, is an American rapper known for her energetic flow, outspoken personality and influential presence in hip-hop.

She rose to fame through social media and the reality series Love & Hip Hop: New York before launching her music career. Her breakthrough came with “Bodak Yellow” in 2017, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 and established her as one of the leading female rappers of her generation.

Her debut album, Invasion of Privacy (2018), became a major commercial and critical success, earning her a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. Cardi B has continued to achieve major chart success with hits including “I Like It,” “WAP,” “Up” and “I Like It.” She has also expanded into acting, television and other entertainment ventures, becoming one of the most recognizable figures in contemporary hip-hop.
