Kenny Sol, born Norbert Rusanganwa on April 24, 1997, in Kigali, Rwanda, is a Rwandan singer, songwriter, and vocalist known for his smooth blend of Afrobeat and R&B. Before pursuing music professionally, he was a talented footballer, but his passion for singing eventually led him to study at the Nyundo School of Art and Music.
Kenny Sol first gained recognition as a member of Yemba Voice before launching his solo career in 2019. He went on to establish himself as one of Rwanda’s rising music stars with popular songs including “Joli,” “Ikinyafu,” “Say My Name,” “Umurego,” and “One More Time.” Known for his distinctive vocals and modern Afrobeat sound, he has performed alongside major African artists and earned several awards for his growing contribution to Rwandan music.
