Mr Eazi, whose real name is Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and record executive. Born on July 19, 1991, in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, he is known for pioneering Banku music, a sound that blends Ghanaian highlife with Nigerian musical styles.
He began recording music while studying mechanical engineering at KNUST in Ghana. His breakthrough came with songs such as “Skin Tight” and “Leg Over.” He has released several projects, including *About to Blow*, *Life Is Eazi, Vol. 1 – Accra to Lagos*, and his debut studio album, *The Evil Genius*.
In 2019, Mr Eazi launched emPawa Africa, a talent development platform supporting emerging African artists.
