Chinsea Linda Lee, professionally known as Shenseea, is a Jamaican singer and songwriter born on October 1, 1996, in Mandeville, Jamaica. She rose to prominence in the Jamaican dancehall scene after gaining attention with her remix of Vybz Kartel's song “Loodi” in 2016. Her growing popularity earned her opportunities to perform internationally and collaborate with established artists, including Sean Paul.

Shenseea gained wider international recognition through collaborations with artists such as Tyga, Swae Lee, Young Thug and Kanye West. In 2021, she appeared on Kanye West's album Donda, contributing to the songs “Pure Souls” alongside Roddy Ricch and “Ok Ok Pt 2.” Her contribution to the album earned her a nomination for Album of the Year at the 64th Grammy Awards as a featured artist.

In 2019, she signed with Interscope Records and later released her debut studio album, Alpha, in 2022. Her second album, Never Gets Late Here, was released in 2024 and received a Grammy nomination for Best Reggae Album at the 2025 Grammy Awards. Known for blending dancehall, reggae, Afrobeats and hip-hop influences, Shenseea has become one of Jamaica's internationally recognised female music stars. She has also won two MOBO Awards.

In 2026, she made history as the first Jamaican female artist to reach number one on Billboard's Latin Airplay chart with “Echo (FIFA World Cup 2026),” a collaboration with Daddy Yankee.
