Brentford secured a big win over Chelsea at the Gtech Community Stadium after a goalless first half.
Jaidon Anthony opened the scoring in the 61st minute with a header from a corner. Chelsea then pushed forward looking for an equaliser, but Brentford found more space in attack.
Igor Thiago made it 2-0 in the 83rd minute after Brentford won the ball and launched a quick attack. The goal gave the home side more control of the match.
Fábio Carvalho completed the win in the fourth minute of added time, making it 3-0 and sealing all three points for Brentford.
The result moved Brentford up to third place with nine points after five Premier League matches. Chelsea remained on seven points.
Chelsea had more possession during the match but struggled to create clear chances. Brentford were more effective in front of goal and finished strongly in the second half.
The victory also gave Brentford their first home Premier League win over Chelsea since 1938, according to The Guardian.
