Calema have joined Brazilian singer Mariana Fagundes and music producer EME for the official remix of “Chuva de Amor,” which was released with a new music video on October 13, 2026.
The remix, also known in English as “Shower of Love,” brings together the São Tomé and Príncipe-born duo with Fagundes, a Brazilian singer, and producer EME. Rjacks is also credited on the production.
The song was released on digital music platforms on October 8 through EME under an exclusive licence to Warner Music Brazil. A lyric video was also released ahead of the official music video.
The new version gives the original song a different sound, combining Afro House with elements of pop, Brazilian sertanejo and electronic music. The collaboration brings together artists from different musical backgrounds and connects Portuguese-speaking audiences across Africa, Europe and South America.
The remix has also been presented as a way to introduce the song to more listeners in Brazil. However, its long-term reach and performance will depend on how audiences respond to the new version.
