Tanzanian Bongo Flava artist Chino Kidd has teased a remix of “Pretty Girl (Ready),” the collaboration by Rwandan creative Chico Berry, Rwandan singer Shemi and Nigerian artist Kpee. Chino Kidd shared a challenge video using the song, where he can be heard performing what appears to be a new verse while dancing to the track. His post has added more signs that a remix of the song is in the works.
The Tanzanian artist also mentioned “remix” in the caption of his Instagram post and used Rwanda and Tanzania flags while teasing the collaboration. The video was also shared as a collaboration post with the people behind the song.
What makes the teaser interesting is that Chino Kidd's verse is already heard in the audio used for the challenge. This suggests that his part has already been recorded, although the full remix has not yet been released or given an official release date.
“Pretty Girl (Ready)” was released on July 29, 2026, and is credited to Chico Berry, Shemi and Kpee. The song was produced by Huybbie, with Bobproofficial handling mixing and mastering, according to music information published about the release.
The original song brings together artists from Rwanda and Nigeria, while Chino Kidd's possible addition would bring Tanzania into the collaboration. That would give the record an even wider East African connection.
For now, fans will have to wait for an official announcement about the remix. Chino Kidd's challenge, however, has given listeners an early look at what could be his contribution to the new version of “Pretty Girl (Ready).”
