Tanzanian music star Diamond Platnumz has teamed up with South African Amapiano heavyweights on “Tse Monate,” a cross-border collaboration bringing together some of Africa’s notable music names. The track features Xduppy, DJ Maphorisa, Focalistic, Uncool MC, Angekebabuye MC and Ricky Lenyora.
The collaboration connects Diamond’s Bongo Flava sound with South Africa’s dance-driven Amapiano style. The song has also attracted attention through the phrase “Mtoto Kasimama,” which has appeared in clips shared across social media.
With Xduppy leading a lineup that includes established artists from both countries, “Tse Monate” highlights the growing musical connection between East and Southern Africa. The collaboration brings together different audiences through a shared love of energetic African dance music.
