Sean “Diddy” Combs is now expected to leave federal prison earlier than his previous projected date.

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ projected prison release date has changed again. Federal Bureau of Prisons records now list February 5, 2028, as his expected release date, 15 days earlier than the previous date of February 20.

Combs is serving a 50-month federal prison sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. His release date has changed several times since he was sentenced in October 2025.

The latest update comes after his projected date was moved to January 24, 2028, following a reported fight with another inmate. His date was later moved to February 20 before being changed again to February 5.

The Bureau of Prisons has not explained the reason for the latest change. The agency generally does not discuss specific details about an individual inmate’s custody or release plans.

Combs was convicted in 2025 on two counts of transporting people across state lines for prostitution. He was acquitted of the more serious charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.

For now, February 5, 2028, is his current projected release date, but it can still change.
