British-Nigerian DJ and producer DJames and Nigerian singer-songwriter Qing Madi have reunited for their new single “Can’t Wait,” released on October 2, 2026.
The new song brings the two artists together again after their 2024 collaboration “Love Me,” which appeared on DJames’ Grateful EP. The earlier song was released in September 2024 and also received an official visualiser.
“Can’t Wait” gives Qing Madi space to lead with her vocals while DJames builds the track around a dance-focused electronic sound. Beatport lists the song as an Afro House release at 120 BPM.
The single was released through LVRN Records (Love Renaissance) and Kick It, according to its official Apple Music listing.
The release also marks another chapter in the musical partnership between DJames and Qing Madi. Their first collaboration, “Love Me,” remains part of DJames’ Grateful project and helped establish their connection before they returned with “Can’t Wait.”
“Can’t Wait” is now available on major streaming platforms, giving listeners a new collaboration from DJames and Qing Madi after their first release together in 2024.
