Drake and Don Toliver have released the official music video for their new collaboration, “Solar Eclipse.” The song and video arrived on October 2, 2026, as part of Drake’s expanded project HABIBTI (FOMO).
“Solar Eclipse” is a reworking of Ella Langley’s country hit “Choosin’ Texas.” The new version gives the song a slower R&B and hip-hop sound, with Drake and Don Toliver adding their own vocals and lyrics. Langley and the writers of the original song are credited on the track.
The song was first heard in Drake’s FOMO project before receiving its official release on streaming platforms. It was one of four new tracks added to HABIBTI as part of the HABIBTI (FOMO) edition, alongside “Quebec,” “Classic PT2” and “Cold Shoulder,” which also features Don Toliver and Yebba.
The track also carries a strong Texas theme. Drake references several places in Texas in his lyrics, while Don Toliver, who is from the Houston area, adds to the song’s connection to the state.
“Solar Eclipse” has also made an early impact on music charts. The song reached No. 1 on Apple Music’s U.S. Top Songs chart, while it is also charting in several other countries.
The official “Solar Eclipse” music video is now available on YouTube, giving fans a visual release for Drake and Don Toliver’s latest collaboration.
