Drake’s latest album, ICEMAN, continues to make an impact on the U.S. music charts following one of the biggest album debuts of 2026.
Released on May 15, 2026, ICEMAN opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 463,000 equivalent album units earned in the United States during its first tracking week. According to Billboard, it recorded the biggest opening week of the year for an R&B/hip-hop album and the second-largest debut among all albums in 2026 at the time.
The album also gave Drake his 15th No. 1 album on the Billboard 200, moving him ahead of Jay-Z for the most No. 1 albums among solo male artists and tying him with Taylor Swift for the most among solo artists. Only The Beatles, with 19, remain ahead of them.
A Strong Start for ‘ICEMAN’
A major part of ICEMAN’s opening-week performance came from streaming. Of its 463,000 equivalent album units, 449,000 were streaming equivalent album units, representing 462.2 million on-demand official streams across the album’s 18 tracks. The project also generated 13,000 traditional album sales and 1,000 track equivalent album units.
The album went on to spend four consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, making it the longest-running No. 1 album of 2026 at that point.
ICEMAN was also part of a historic week for Drake. Alongside HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR, the rapper occupied the top three positions on the Billboard 200 simultaneously, making him the first artist to achieve that feat since the chart began publishing regularly in 1956.
With ICEMAN continuing its chart run, the album remains another major commercial chapter in Drake’s career and adds to his record-setting history on the Billboard 200.
