Drake made a surprise appearance at Karol G’s concert on Sunday, September 27, giving fans an unexpected live performance of “One Dance.” The Canadian rapper joined Karol G during her Houston show and performed the 2016 hit, creating one of the night’s biggest moments. “One Dance,” featuring Nigerian star Wizkid and British singer Kyla, was one of Drake’s biggest songs from his Views era. The song reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed at the top for 10 weeks.
The Houston appearance also comes during a busy period for Drake and Karol G. The two artists recently joined forces on “Ahí,” a song from Karol G’s sixth studio album, No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto. “Ahí” made a strong start on the Billboard charts in August. It debuted at No. 1 on the Hot Latin Songs chart and also reached No. 1 on Latin Streaming Songs and Hot Latin Rhythm Songs. The song gave Drake his first No. 1 on the Hot Latin Rhythm Songs chart.
Their connection had already drawn attention before the Houston show. Drake appeared on the big screen during Karol G’s Toronto concert in July, while he also mentioned her on his song “New Bestie.” For fans in Houston, however, the biggest surprise came when Drake walked onto the stage and performed one of his most recognizable songs alongside Karol G.
The unexpected performance added another memorable moment to Karol G’s 2026 tour and showed the growing connection between the Colombian star and Drake.
