The fear of heights is about to get even worse.
Fall 2: Deadpoint is set to hit theaters on September 2, 2026, taking the survival-thriller franchise far beyond the abandoned TV tower that terrified audiences in the original 2022 film.
This time, the nightmare moves to Thailand, where Jax Hunter, a young woman struggling with the loss of her sister, Shiloh, travels with her late sister’s adventurous friend, Luce, for a dangerous climbing expedition on the notorious Mount Kwan.
What begins as a journey for healing quickly turns into a fight for survival when a violent rockslide destroys their route, leaving the pair stranded on a narrow plank walk roughly 4,000 feet above the ground.
With no easy way down and danger surrounding them, Jax must battle both the unforgiving mountain and the psychological trauma that has followed her since her sister’s death.
The sequel is directed by Peter and Michael Spierig, known for films including Jigsaw and Predestination. Original Fall filmmaker Scott Mann returns as a co-writer alongside Jonathan Frank.
Harriet Slater stars as Jax, with Arsema Thomas playing Luce and Tom Brittney also joining the cast.
Following the success of the first Fall, the sequel is part of a broader plan to expand the franchise, with Fall 3 already in development.
For fans who found the original terrifying, Deadpoint is taking the fear of heights to an entirely new level.
