Gospel singer Joel Lwaga and Bongo Flava star Diamond Platnumz have joined forces on a new song titled “Nikumbuke.”
The song was released on September 23, 2026, bringing together two Tanzanian artists from different sides of the music scene. Joel Lwaga is known for gospel music, while Diamond Platnumz has built his career around Bongo Flava and Afropop.
“Nikumbuke” means “Remember Me” in Swahili. The song carries a message of faith, patience and hope, with the singers asking God to remember them during difficult times.
