American R&B singer Kehlani is heading to Lagos, Nigeria, for her first live performance in the country. The singer has been announced as a co-headliner for Coca-Cola Rhythm Unplugged 2026, where she will share the stage with Atlanta rapper Lil Baby on December 21.
The concert will take place at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos as part of the city’s annual Detty December entertainment season. Organised by Flytime Promotions, Rhythm Unplugged has been running since 2004 and has hosted Nigerian and international music stars over the years.
Kehlani confirmed her upcoming appearance in a message to fans, expressing excitement about performing in Lagos and directing people to the event’s official website for updates. Her Nigerian debut will give local fans an opportunity to experience her music live without travelling abroad to attend one of her shows.
The singer is known for songs such as “Nights Like This,” featuring Ty Dolla $ign, “Gangsta” and “Honey.” She has built an international audience through her R&B sound, personal songwriting and collaborations with artists across different genres. Her song “Folded” has also become a notable part of her recent music catalogue.
Her appearance alongside Lil Baby brings together two American artists from different musical backgrounds. While Kehlani is known for her R&B vocals, Lil Baby has established himself in hip-hop with tracks including “Yes Indeed,” his collaboration with Drake, and “Drip Too Hard,” featuring Gunna.
The announcement adds to the international acts expected in Lagos during December, a period when concerts and entertainment events attract music fans from across Nigeria and beyond. Rhythm Unplugged remains one of the established events on the city’s festive calendar, bringing together live music and audiences looking to celebrate the holiday season.
Tickets for the 2026 concert have not yet been announced as available. Fans can follow updates through the official Rhythm Unplugged website as organisers release further information about ticket sales and event details.
With Kehlani set to make her Nigerian live debut on December 21, Rhythm Unplugged 2026 is shaping up to be an important date for fans of R&B and hip-hop in Lagos.
