Lil Wayne has revealed that he and Drake have a large archive of unreleased music recorded around 2014 and 2015, giving fans a new look at how the two artists continue to revisit their old collaborations.

Wayne made the revelation during the October 6, 2026 episode of The Joint Venture Show, which he co-hosts with Craig Carton.

When asked about rumors that he and Drake still had unreleased music together, Wayne confirmed that the rumors were true.

He said he regularly goes through old files and has found “really unheard” music from 2014 and 2015. Wayne also explained that he sometimes reworks the recordings and sends updated versions to Drake so he can hear them.

According to Wayne, Drake often responds by asking when they are going to release the songs. However, neither artist has announced a release date for the unreleased material.

Wayne and Drake have worked together on several well-known songs over the years, including “The Motto,” “She Will,” “Love Me,” “Miss Me,” “No Frauds” and “You Only Live Twice.” Their most recent released collaboration was in 2021.

The interview also touched on Wayne's personal life. After being asked who he would want to perform at his wedding, he named Anita Baker as his first choice. He said he would not want to put pressure on her if she was tired of performing, and mentioned Sade and Babyface as other choices.

Wayne was also asked about Eminem's reaction to his “Funyuns” line from “Brand New,” his collaboration with YG and Tyga. Eminem had previously praised the line and joked that he wished he had written it himself.

Wayne said he experiences the same feeling when he hears a line he wishes he had written. He added that Eminem is one of the artists who often makes him think, “Why didn't I think of that?”

The interview gives fans both a personal look at Wayne's wedding plans and a glimpse into the amount of music still sitting in his and Drake's archives. For now, the unreleased songs remain without an announced release date.
