Tanzanian Bongo Flava singer Nandy has announced that her upcoming second studio album will be titled 911.
The singer revealed the album title after her 2026 Nandy Festival concert in Dar es Salaam. In a message to her fans, Nandy thanked them for supporting her music career and confirmed that 911 is the name of the album she plans to release this year.
The announcement comes nearly eight years after Nandy released her debut album, The African Princess, in November 2018. The 13-track project included songs such as “Aibu,” “Hazipo,” “Kivuruge” and “Ninogeshe.”
Nandy has not yet announced the exact release date for 911. She has also not publicly explained what the title means or why she chose the number 911 for the album. Tanzanian reports have noted that the meaning of the title remains unclear for now.
The album announcement gives fans a new project to look forward to as Nandy continues the next stage of her music career. Further details, including the release date, tracklist and possible collaborations, are expected to be announced as the album rollout continues.
