Rwandan singer Nel Ngabo is set to perform in Texas this weekend as he makes his first performance in the United States.

Nel Ngabo will perform on Saturday, October 3, at the East Africa Business Network’s 21st Annual Trade & Investment Conference in Irving. His performance will be part of the conference’s Dinner Gala, which will close the two-day event.

The conference is taking place on October 2 and 3 at The Westin Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas. This year’s event brings together business leaders, entrepreneurs, investors and members of the East African diaspora to discuss trade, investment and opportunities between East Africa and the United States.

Nel Ngabo is part of the entertainment lineup for the Saturday evening gala alongside artists from across East Africa, including Uganda’s Savaa Karim, South Sudan’s William Atur and Kenya’s The Mulembe Divas.

The Rwandan singer recently invited people in Dallas to attend the event, sharing his excitement about performing for the audience in Texas. His appearance comes after a recent performance in Canada and gives him another opportunity to take his music to Rwandan and East African audiences living abroad.

Nel Ngabo is known for songs such as “Solo,” “Nywe,” “Nzahinduka” and “Delicious.” He is also part of Rwanda’s Kina Music label. His upcoming Texas performance adds another international stop to his growing music journey.
