Nigerian singer and producer Young Jonn has marked an important moment in his career after selling out his first headline concert at OVO Arena Wembley in London. The concert took place on September 25 and came after Young Jonn finally secured a UK visa following a 10-year wait. He had announced the visa news in August before confirming his London show.
After the sold-out show, Young Jonn received a special plaque to celebrate the achievement. The night also came as he released his new EP, Dear London, giving fans new music alongside his live performance.
Young Jonn first became widely known as a music producer, earning the nickname “The Wicked Producer” through his work with major Nigerian artists. He later built his own career as a singer with songs such as “Dada,” “Big Big Things” and “Hold Somebody.” His latest single, “Hold Somebody,” also recently entered the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart at No. 31.
