North West, the 13-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has responded to online criticism of her alternative fashion style, rejecting claims that her appearance is “demonic” and affirming her Christian faith.

North addressed the comments during a TikTok livestream with her mother, Kim Kardashian. Wearing bright blue hair, dark makeup and facial accessories, she urged viewers not to judge her beliefs based on how she dresses.

“Stop saying I’m demonic. No, I’m not. Just because I like to dress this way, don’t judge a book by its cover,” North said during the livestream.

She also questioned why her fashion choices led some people to associate her with demonic imagery, adding that she believes in Jesus.

Kardashian joined the conversation, suggesting that the criticism was linked to North’s black grills and piercings. She explained that her daughter has enjoyed experimenting with accessories since she was very young.

North also clarified that the facial piercings attracting attention online are not real, explaining that she frequently changes the accessories she wears.

The conversation comes as North continues to draw public attention for her distinctive style, which includes colourful hair, bold makeup and alternative-inspired outfits. Her appearance has sparked debate online, with some users criticising her choices while others defend her right to express herself.

Kardashian has previously spoken about allowing North to explore her personal style while maintaining rules as a parent. During the livestream, the mother and daughter addressed the criticism together, highlighting the difference between fashion choices and assumptions about a person’s beliefs.

North’s response was direct: she wants people to look beyond her appearance rather than make judgments about her faith based on her fashion.
