Sia has sold a 50% stake in her music catalog to entertainment and investment company Pophouse in a deal worth $180 million. The agreement covers part of the catalog behind some of Sia’s biggest songs, including “Chandelier,” “Titanium” and “Cheap Thrills.”

According to documents reported by TMZ, Sia is set to receive $165 million for songs she created before her marriage to Dan Bernard. Bernard agreed to give up any rights to that money in exchange for $1 million.

The deal also includes another $15 million connected to songs created during their marriage. That money is being held in escrow while the former couple works out how it will be divided.

Sia and Bernard were married for less than three years before she filed for divorce in March 2025. The catalog deal has therefore also become part of the financial matters connected to their separation.

Pophouse is an entertainment and investment company that has been building a business around major music catalogs and artists. The company has previously made deals involving music from artists including ABBA, KISS and Cyndi Lauper.

For Sia, the agreement represents a major deal involving music that has played an important role in her international career. For Pophouse, it adds another well-known catalog to its growing collection of music rights.
