Spider-Man: Brand New Day is continuing its extraordinary run at the global box office, with the Tom Holland-led Marvel blockbuster now approaching $2.3 billion worldwide.
The latest figures put the film at roughly $2.23 billion globally, including more than $869 million from North American theaters and over $1.36 billion internationally.
The numbers have placed Brand New Day among the biggest movies in cinema history. It is now chasing Ne Zha 2, which sits around $2.27 billion, while Titanic remains slightly higher at approximately $2.264 billion.
That means Spider-Man is within striking distance of moving deeper into the all-time box office rankings. If its momentum continues, the film could soon push past both titles and secure a place among the four highest-grossing movies ever released.
The success comes after a record-breaking domestic opening. Brand New Day launched with about $360 million in the U.S. and Canada, setting a new opening-weekend record and surpassing Avengers: Endgame.
The film follows Peter Parker, played by Tom Holland, as he lives as a full-time Spider-Man in a world that no longer remembers him. According to Sony, Peter's growing isolation and the pressure of his new life lead to a transformation that could be connected to a dangerous new threat.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the movie also stars Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal and Mark Ruffalo.
With the $2.3 billion mark now within reach, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is no longer simply another successful Marvel release. It has become one of the biggest box-office stories of 2026 — and its final position on the all-time list is still being decided.
