Thousands gathered in Kinigi as Rwanda celebrated the 21st Gorilla Naming Ceremony.
Rwandan music star The Ben brought excitement to Kinigi today as he performed for thousands gathered for the 21st Kwita Izina celebration.
The singer took fans back to some of his biggest hits, including “Inshallah,” giving the crowd a chance to enjoy one of his well-known songs.
He later ended his performance with his hit song “Thank You,” creating a memorable finish for the audience.
The event will see 22 baby gorillas named, celebrating Rwanda’s continued work to protect mountain gorillas and support communities around Volcanoes National Park.
Kwita Izina brings together Rwandans, international guests, conservationists and celebrities to celebrate Rwanda’s conservation efforts.
