DreamWorks Animation is bringing back Roz for a new adventure called The Wild Robot Escapes.
LOS ANGELES, California — The Wild Robot is a popular animated movie based on Peter Brown’s bestselling book series. The story follows Roz, a robot who becomes stranded on a remote island and learns to live with wild animals.
The movie became a major hit, earning $334.5 million worldwide and receiving strong reviews from critics.
Now, DreamWorks is moving forward with a sequel titled The Wild Robot Escapes.
The new film will continue Roz’s story after the events of the first movie, with a new adventure and more challenges ahead.
The sequel will also bring a new directing team, while Chris Sanders, who directed the first movie, returns to write the screenplay.
