Willow Smith is seeking Grammy recognition across five categories, highlighting her work as a singer, songwriter and musician through a new For Your GRAMMY Consideration campaign.

The campaign features music from her latest projects, including The Thread, alongside the songs “Talk on the Hill,” “Shrink to Fantasy” and “ear to the cocoon.”

Smith is putting forward “Talk on the Hill” for Best Pop Solo Performance, while The Thread is being considered for Best Alternative Music Album and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical.

“Shrink to Fantasy” is submitted for Best Arrangement, Instruments and Vocals, while “ear to the cocoon” is being considered for Best Alternative Music Performance.

The submissions reflect the range of Smith’s musical work, which brings together elements of jazz, rock, soul and detailed vocal arrangements. Her album The Thread, released in July 2026, features 10 tracks and continues her exploration of alternative sounds and layered musical styles.

Known professionally as WILLOW, the American artist has continued to explore different sounds throughout her career, building a musical identity that goes beyond traditional pop. Her latest work places a strong focus on instrumentation, vocal expression and experimentation.

The Grammy consideration campaign gives voters an opportunity to consider these recordings in their respective categories. However, the submissions are not official Grammy nominations, and the final nominations and awards remain separate stages of the process.
