Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, made a surprise appearance during Chris Brown and Usher’s The R&B Tour at SoFi Stadium on Friday night. The rapper joined the show during the first of two back-to-back concerts in Los Angeles. The tour’s official schedule shows Chris Brown and Usher performing at SoFi Stadium on September 25 and 26.
Ye appeared on stage wearing a new face-covering mask and an all-black outfit. The look reminded many fans of the style he used during his Yeezus era.
He then performed several of his well-known songs, including “All of the Lights,” “Runaway,” “Flashing Lights” and “Can’t Tell Me Nothing.” His appearance turned the concert into an unexpected moment for fans who came to see Usher and Chris Brown.
Before performing, Ye also thanked Chris Brown for bringing him onto the stage. The appearance added another surprise guest to a tour that has already featured artists such as 50 Cent, Mary J. Blige, Fat Joe, Jadakiss, Ashanti, Method Man and Future.
For Ye, the SoFi Stadium appearance comes during another active period in his live music career. He also performed at the same stadium earlier in 2026, but this time appeared as a surprise guest during another artist’s concert.
The R&B Tour continues across North America, with Chris Brown and Usher scheduled to return to SoFi Stadium for additional shows in November.
