Nigerian singer and producer Young Jonn released his new single “Let It Go” on September 18, 2026, as he prepared for the release of his Dear London EP and his headline concert at OVO Arena Wembley.
Released through Chocolate City Music, “Let It Go” was produced by Willis and gives Young Jonn a light and upbeat sound. The song focuses on leaving stress behind, spending time with friends and enjoying the moment.
In the lyrics, Young Jonn talks about having a long week, bringing people together through a group chat and looking for a night away from everyday pressure. The repeated message is simple: let go of worries and enjoy the night.
The single arrived one week before Dear London, Young Jonn’s seven-track EP, which was released on September 25. The project includes “Destiny,” “By 4,” “Shege,” “Elumelu,” “Glass in the Air,” “Hold Somebody” and “Ws in the Chat.” “Let It Go” is not included on the EP.
September 25 also marked an important moment in Young Jonn’s career as he headlined OVO Arena Wembley in London on the same day the EP was released. The project and concert marked another step in his move from a well-known producer to a recording artist performing on major stages.
Young Jonn's previous album, Blue Disco, was released in November 2025 and debuted at No. 1 on the Apple Music Nigeria albums chart. The album followed his 2024 debut album Jiggy Forever.
With “Let It Go,” Young Jonn gave listeners another release during a major period in his career, leading into his Dear London project and his first headline show at OVO Arena Wembley.
