Nigerian singer BNXN and music producer Sarz have won Song of the Year at the 2026 African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) for their song “Back Outside.”
The AFRIMMA 2026 awards ceremony was held at Annette Strauss Square in Dallas, Texas, bringing together artists and music industry figures from across Africa.
“Back Outside” won the Song of the Year award after competing with other African songs. The award adds another achievement to the work of BNXN and Sarz, who have worked together on music for the Nigerian music scene.
BNXN also performed during the AFRIMMA 2026 ceremony, where he presented some of his popular songs for the audience.
The win gives BNXN and Sarz another major award as African music continues to reach audiences around the world.
