Brighton & Hove Albion stunned Premier League champions Arsenal with a 3-0 win at the Amex Stadium on Saturday, ending the Gunners' perfect start to the season.

Brighton produced a strong performance against Arsenal and scored three times to secure one of their biggest wins of the season.

Pascal Groß opened the scoring in the 31st minute after receiving an assist from Charalampos Kostoulas. The Brighton captain's strike gave the home side the lead.

Kostoulas then doubled Brighton's advantage just before half-time with a long-range finish. The 19-year-old continued his impressive start to the season and gave Arsenal a difficult task going into the second half.

Brighton added a third goal in the 57th minute when Chema Andrés headed home from a corner. Arsenal could not find a response as Brighton protected their lead and completed a 3-0 victory.

The defeat was Arsenal's first Premier League loss of the season after four straight wins. Brighton's victory also moved them to 10 points from their opening five league games.

For Arsenal, the result ends their perfect league start and gives Mikel Arteta's team plenty to think about before their next match.
