Among the familiar faces spotted at the venue are singers Bruce Melodie, Ish Kevin, Mariya Yohana, Junior Rumaga and Logan Joe. Comedian Nkusi Arthur and media personality Uncle Austin have also arrived ahead of the event.
The gathering is expected to bring together around 10,000 young people from different backgrounds and sectors across Rwanda. It provides an opportunity for young people to engage with the President on issues affecting their lives, their ambitions and the country’s future.
The participation of well-known figures from Rwanda’s entertainment industry has also brought attention to the event. These artists and media personalities play an important role in the country’s music and entertainment scene, where they connect with young audiences through their work.
President Kagame previously held a Meet the President session with Youth Volunteers in May 2024. During that meeting, he discussed young people’s challenges and aspirations, encouraging them to work hard, improve their families’ lives and contribute to national development.
He also highlighted the importance of preserving Rwandan culture and values, including promoting the proper speaking and writing of Kinyarwanda.
The latest gathering at BK Arena brings young people from different sectors together for another opportunity to hear from the President and engage with issues concerning Rwanda’s future.
As the event gets underway, the presence of popular Rwandan artists and entertainment personalities adds a showbiz angle to a gathering focused on youth engagement and national development.
