Rwandan singer Chiboo has released the official music video for his new song “AWAY,” marking an important step in his music career following his recent signing with Giti Inc., a management company led by Junior Giti.
The release comes shortly after Chiboo signed a five-year deal with Giti Inc. on October 24, 2026. He joins Chriss Eazy as the second artist under the company.
The “AWAY” music video was directed by John Elarts and filmed in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, including scenes at Mbweni JKT Wildlife Zoo.
The song brings together several Rwandan music creatives. Producer Muriroo handled the production, with Jules contributing electric guitar, while Bob Pro is credited with mixing and mastering. Chiboo also worked with Real Roddy and Edin Dali on the songwriting.
The video choreography was handled by Aspino K and Dj Benda, adding movement and energy to the visual.
With “AWAY,” Chiboo begins a new chapter under Giti Inc. as he continues to build his name in Rwanda's music industry.
