Nigerian singer Chiké has released the official music video for his new single, “Love Is Important,” giving fans another taste of his upcoming fourth studio album, Lover Boy.
The song serves as the second single from the upcoming project and explores love, affection and commitment in relationships.
Produced by DeeYasso, “Love Is Important” blends Chiké’s smooth, soulful vocals with Kompa-inspired rhythms, giving the romantic track a lively and danceable sound.
The release follows Chiké’s previous albums, Boo of the Booless (2020), The Brother’s Keeper (2022) and Son of Chike (2024).
With Lover Boy on the way, “Love Is Important” offers another look at the romantic sound that has become an important part of Chiké’s music.
