Ciara surprised fashion fans on October 3 when she stepped onto the runway for Junya Watanabe’s Spring/Summer 2027 show during Paris Fashion Week.
The singer, who is expecting her fifth child, walked the Paris runway with her baby bump clearly visible. Her appearance quickly became one of the standout moments of the fashion week.
Ciara wore three different looks during the show. Each look was built around a fitted purple and bright pink outfit, with different jackets, coats and accessories added to create a very different style each time.
For one of her walks, she wore a large black leather jacket with silver details, blonde hair and red heels. She later changed into a beige coat before appearing in another dramatic look with a long cape covered with hanging details.
The appearance was also connected to the main idea of Watanabe’s new collection. The designer included looks that played with the shape of the pregnant body, making Ciara’s appearance fit naturally into the show.
Ciara is no stranger to fashion. She has attended Paris Fashion Week several times and has worked with major fashion brands over the years. She also co-founded The House of LR&C with her husband, NFL star Russell Wilson, showing her interest in fashion beyond her music career.
Paris Fashion Week is currently presenting the Spring/Summer 2027 collections, with shows running from September 28 through October 6. Junya Watanabe's show was part of the official Paris Fashion Week calendar on October 3.
For Ciara, the runway appearance gave fans another memorable fashion moment while also showing her pregnancy in a very public and confident way. It was a different kind of stage for the singer, but she looked at home walking in Paris.
