Congolese music star Fally Ipupa is preparing for two major concerts at London’s The O2 Arena on October 24 and 25, 2026, as he continues to expand the international reach of Congolese rumba and modern African music.
The concerts are part of an important period in the singer’s career, following the release of his latest album, XX, through Warner Music France. The project features “Jam,” his collaboration with Nigerian superstar Wizkid, alongside “Cinéma” and guest appearances from Guy2Bezbar, Joé Dwèt Filé, Calema, Angélique Kidjo, Keblack, SDM and Lokua Kanza.
Fally Ipupa has built his sound around Congolese musical traditions while incorporating rumba, soukous, R&B and urban pop. This blend has helped him reach audiences beyond the Democratic Republic of the Congo and build a following across Africa, Europe and other international markets.
His upcoming London shows also build on his history of major performances in the United Kingdom. In 2023, he performed at OVO Arena Wembley, previously known as Wembley Arena, becoming the first Francophone artist to perform at the venue, according to the event information provided by the organisers. The October concerts at The O2 are being promoted as a landmark event for Francophone African music in the UK.
Ticket demand has already shaped the London weekend. The Sunday, October 25 performance is listed as sold out, while tickets for Saturday, October 24 have been advertised as available through the venue’s official event page. Fans should check the official listing for the latest availability.
Beyond music, Fally Ipupa is also known for his humanitarian work through the Fally Ipupa Foundation. The organisation supports vulnerable communities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, including orphans and people affected by sexual violence and disease.
With XX introducing new collaborations and two London concerts approaching, Fally Ipupa continues to connect Congolese music with a wider international audience. The upcoming performances offer another major stage for an artist whose career spans traditional influences, contemporary sounds and charitable work.
