Jason Statham is set to reunite with filmmaker Guy Ritchie for Dogfight, a new action film being developed for Netflix. Ritchie will write, direct and produce the project, which is set in London's criminal underworld.

According to reports by Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix describes the film as a stylish revenge action story. However, details about the characters and the full storyline have not yet been revealed.

Production is expected to begin in the United Kingdom in early 2027. The film brings together Black Bear Pictures, Ritchie's Toff Guy Films and Statham's Punch Palace Productions. Ritchie and Statham will produce alongside Ivan Atkinson and John Friedberg.

The project marks another reunion for the actor and director, whose working relationship began with Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels in 1998. They later worked together on films including Snatch (2000), Revolver (2005), Wrath of Man (2021) and Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre (2023).

Statham and Ritchie have also worked together on Viva La Madness, a separate crime film based on the novel by J.J. Connolly. That project features Statham alongside actors including Vinnie Jones, Jason Isaacs and Camila Mendes.

Dogfight will be another addition to the pair's history of crime and action films. Netflix has not yet announced its release date.
