Kanye West has returned to the fashion runway with his Yeezy Season 01 show in Los Angeles, marking his first major Yeezy runway presentation in more than four years.
The event took place on Wednesday, November 4, at Yeezy Flagship Droam 1, the brand’s first physical retail store, located on Beverly Boulevard. The show also marked the opening of the new store.
Several celebrities attended the event, including Ye’s daughter North West and his wife Bianca Censori. Other guests included Kid Cudi, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, ASAP Nast, Sab Zada, Jerry Lorenzo and the Clermont Twins.
Instead of using a traditional straight runway, models walked in circles around a large white structure while showcasing mostly minimal and monochromatic outfits. Rapper Nettspend was among those who modelled during the presentation.
The return comes four years after Yeezy’s Season 9 show in Paris in October 2022. That presentation attracted widespread criticism after models appeared wearing “White Lives Matter” shirts. Adidas ended its partnership with Ye later that month following his antisemitic remarks.
Since the split, Yeezy has continued operating independently, selling products through its website and expanding its retail presence through a partnership with JD Sports in August 2026.
The Season 01 presentation marks another step in Yeezy’s return to the fashion industry as the brand develops its business outside its former Adidas partnership.
