BLACKPINK star LISA has released the official music video for “Tarantino,” bringing a cinematic action story to her latest solo era. The video arrived on October 23, 2026, alongside her new six-track EP, PRESS PLAY.
Directed by Grammy Award-winning filmmaker James Mackel, the video follows LISA on a mission inside a hotel, where she faces a series of opponents while trying to deliver a mysterious red letter to her “favorite director.”
The visual features choreographed action, dramatic scenes and stylish looks, giving the release the feel of a short action film. Its concept draws on the crime and action movie atmosphere associated with filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, whose name inspired the song’s title.
Throughout the video, LISA moves between action sequences and carefully staged performances, combining her music with a cinematic storyline. One scene also features the limited-edition LISA DualSense wireless controller, which she helped design through her collaboration with PlayStation.
“Tarantino” is one of six tracks on PRESS PLAY, which also includes “SaWaDiKa,” “V12,” “Cobra,” “Cut U Off” and “Sweat.” The EP follows LISA’s solo album Alter Ego, released in 2025, as she continues to develop her music beyond her work with BLACKPINK.
With its action-filled storyline and movie-inspired visuals, “Tarantino” gives LISA’s new EP a bold visual introduction. The official music video is available on LLOUD’s YouTube channel.
