Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Olivier J.P. Nduhungirehe, has praised Rema’s performance at BK Arena, calling it an exceptional concert.
Nduhungirehe attended the concert on Saturday evening with his son, Erwan, as Nigerian Afrobeats star Rema headlined the Kwita Izina Concert at BK Arena.
In a post on X, the minister described Rema as a “Greek God” and praised the Nigerian artist for delivering an outstanding performance.
Nduhungirehe also thanked Rwandan youth for turning up in large numbers and singing and dancing throughout the concert. He said the strong crowd showed the positive energy surrounding the event.
The minister also praised the Rwanda National Police for helping provide security during what he described as a flawless event.
Rema’s Kigali performance brought together thousands of fans as the Nigerian star delivered some of his biggest songs and created one of the biggest entertainment moments of the 21st Kwita Izina celebrations.
