Shakira surprised fans in Madrid on Saturday, October 3, by bringing Dua Lipa on stage to perform her classic song “Antología” during the eighth concert of her Madrid residency.
The surprise appearance took place at the Estadio Shakira at Iberdrola Music, where thousands of fans gathered for Shakira's Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour. Reports said more than 50,000 people attended the concert.
Dua Lipa joined Shakira for a performance of “Antología,” one of the Colombian singer's well-known songs from her early career. The two singers shared the stage for the first time, giving fans a moment they had been hoping to see.
The performance also had a story behind it. In 2025, Dua Lipa performed part of “Antología” during her concert in Bogotá, paying tribute to Shakira. The moment caught Shakira's attention and helped build excitement around the possibility of the two singers eventually working together.
That moment finally happened in Madrid, with Dua Lipa performing the song alongside Shakira instead of covering it alone.
The Madrid concert was also streamed internationally through Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Music and Twitch, allowing fans outside Spain to watch the performance.
Shakira's Madrid residency has featured several special guests during the European leg of her tour, including Laura Pausini, Alejandro Sanz and Manuel Turizo.
For fans, the Dua Lipa appearance added another memorable moment to Shakira's Madrid shows, while “Antología” gave the two artists a chance to turn a tribute that began in Bogotá into a live performance together.
