The Ben’s “Inshallah” has surpassed 8 million views on YouTube, adding another milestone to the strong run of the Rwandan singer’s latest release.

The official music video had reached more than 8 million views on YouTube as of October 8, 2026, after being released on August 15.

The song had already made headlines shortly after its release when it passed 1.1 million views within its first 48 hours. The milestone broke the previous record associated with Meddy’s “My Vow,” which had reached one million views within two days in 2021.

“Inshallah” later passed five million views in September, another milestone that came with an extra reason for fans to keep watching. The Ben had promised to release another song once “Inshallah” reached five million YouTube views. With the song now above eight million views, attention has turned to whether he will keep that promise.

The song was first performed publicly by The Ben at the Gen Z Comedy Show in Kigali on August 13, two days before the music video’s YouTube premiere. He had also spoken about the song months earlier while preparing for the 2026 Summer Country Tour with Bruce Melodie.

Produced by MadeBeat, “Inshallah” combines English and Kinyarwanda and focuses on love, hope and trusting what the future may bring. The music video was directed by Julien Bmjizzo with Bright Ngabo.

The latest YouTube milestone adds to what has already been a strong release for The Ben. The bigger question now is whether fans will soon receive the new song he promised after “Inshallah” crossed five million views.
