Brooklyn rapper Fivio Foreign has released his new single, “You Make Me,” featuring The Fire Choir, along with its official music video.
The new track continues Fivio’s move into gospel-inspired drill, blending his familiar rap style with uplifting choir vocals. It follows his earlier collaborations with The Fire Choir on “Chasin” and “SOLDIER.”
“You Make Me” also brings a touch of R&B nostalgia, drawing inspiration from Monica’s 2003 hit “So Gone.” The familiar influence is combined with Brooklyn drill elements to create a different sound for Fivio’s latest release.
The song is another step in the rapper’s faith-centered musical direction, as he explores themes of faith, personal growth and his relationship with God through hip-hop.
With The Fire Choir joining him again, Fivio continues to build on the sound he introduced with his previous gospel-inspired releases.
