“On The Road” was released on July 31 as the first track on ORIADÉ. The 13-track album also features artists such as Black Sherif, Leon Thomas, Aya Nakamura, Mayorkun and Llona.
The song focuses on Davido’s busy life on the road. In an interview with The FADER, he explained that the song also reflects the challenge of balancing his music career with time for his family.
The new video includes behind-the-scenes moments from his recent career, including his Coachella appearance and other international travels. It gives the song a visual story about life as a touring musician.
The release comes as Davido also prepares for a three-night ORIADÉ residency at the National Theatre in Lagos from December 17 to 19, 2026. The shows will bring his latest album to a Nigerian stage for the first time.
