Rwandan singer The Ben has reached another major milestone as his hit single “Inshallah” surpasses 10 million views on YouTube, less than three months after its release.

The song was released on August 15, 2026, and quickly attracted attention. Within its first 48 hours, the official music video had passed one million views. Reports at the time said the achievement broke a record previously held by fellow Rwandan singer Meddy with his song “My Vow”.

The song continued to gain views in the following weeks, reaching five million in September. By crossing 10 million, “Inshallah” has doubled that milestone and added another achievement to The Ben’s music career.

Produced by Madebeat, “Inshallah” blends Afro-pop and Afrobeats sounds with lyrics in English and Kinyarwanda. Its music video was directed by Burundian filmmaker Julien. The song explores the early stages of romance, with a message about love, hope and trusting the future.

Before the song reached five million views, The Ben had told fans he would release another song once it achieved that target. However, after the milestone was reached, reports said he changed his original plan.

The 10-million-view milestone marks another strong moment for The Ben and adds to the growing reach of Rwandan music on YouTube.
