Tanzanian music stars Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu have announced the date for their baby girl’s traditional 40-day celebration, known as Arobaini.
Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu are preparing to celebrate an important family moment following the birth of their daughter on August 2, 2026.
The couple will hold the celebration on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Tegeta Madale, at the family home of Diamond’s mother, Mama Dangote.
Diamond’s sister, Esma Platnumz, is helping organize the celebration. She has already started giving out the special matching fabric, known as sare, to family members and invited guests.
The event is expected to bring together members of the WCB Wasafi music family, celebrity friends and other special guests. It is also expected to attract attention from fans who have been waiting to see more of the couple’s new family chapter.
The celebration comes as Diamond and Zuchu enjoy their journey as parents. It is Zuchu’s first child and Diamond’s fifth child.
The couple recently marked the birth of their daughter through music, releasing their new song “MTOTO.” The song gives fans another look at the joy surrounding the arrival of their baby.
With the Arobaini celebration now set for September 12, fans are also looking forward to seeing the baby and learning the name the couple has chosen for their daughter.
