Tanzanian music star Diamond Platnumz is bringing his World Retro Tour to Australia this October, with two shows planned in Perth and Melbourne.
Diamond Platnumz is set to return to Australia for two live shows in October 2026 as part of his World Retro Tour. The Bongo Flava star will perform in Perth on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at The Ice Cream Factory. He will then perform in Melbourne on Sunday, October 11, at PICA (Port Melbourne Industrial Centre for the Arts). Diamond will perform with his full band as he brings his popular songs to fans in Australia.
Konshens and Dlala Thukzin Join the Lineup
Diamond Platnumz will not be alone on the Australian tour. South African DJ and producer Dlala Thukzin is part of the lineup. Known for his Afro-house sound, he will join Diamond for the Australian shows. Jamaican dancehall star Konshens is also on the lineup. The artist is known for songs such as Bruk Off Yuh Back, Gal A Bubble and Do Sumn. The three artists will bring different sounds from Tanzania, South Africa and Jamaica to the Australian stage.
Diamond Platnumz's New Album
The Australian tour comes as Diamond Platnumz prepares to release a new studio album. During his recent visit to Kigali, Rwanda, Diamond announced plans to release the album on October 2, 2026. The project will be his first full studio album since A Boy from Tandale, released in 2018. The new album is expected to add another chapter to Diamond's career as he continues to release music and perform for fans outside Tanzania.
