Jay-Z will headline the Apple Music Super Bowl LXI Halftime Show on February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The announcement marks his first time taking the stage as the main performer at the NFL’s biggest annual event after years of helping shape its halftime shows through Roc Nation.

Since 2019, Jay-Z and Roc Nation have worked with the NFL on its live music entertainment, helping bring major artists to the Super Bowl stage. The rapper is now set to take the spotlight himself, marking a new chapter in his long-running relationship with the event.

The announcement comes during a year of celebrations marking the 30th anniversary of Jay-Z’s debut album, Reasonable Doubt, released in 1996. His anniversary shows have included performances in New York, London, Paris and Los Angeles.

Jay-Z’s upcoming performance is expected to draw attention to his influential career in hip-hop, which includes hits such as “Empire State of Mind,” “99 Problems” and “Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem).”

The Super Bowl LXI halftime show will take place on Valentine’s Day in 2027. While Jay-Z has been confirmed as the headliner, no special guest performers have been officially announced.
