Netflix has surprised fans of KPop Demon Hunters with a new animated dance rehearsal video showing HUNTR/X performing the choreography for their hit song “How It’s Done.” Released on October 26, 2026, the video features Rumi, Mira and Zoey practising the routine in a dance studio, giving fans a closer look at moves that were not fully shown in the film.
In the 2025 animated movie, “How It’s Done” plays during an action-packed scene as the trio battles demons aboard a private jet. The new video takes the characters away from the fight and puts the spotlight on their dancing, using the style of dance practice videos commonly shared by real K-pop groups.
The choreography was created by real-life dance experts Leejung Lee of THEBLACKLABEL, Nain of Jam Republic and the performance group K-Tigers. Their work helped bring the dance routines from the fictional K-pop world to life, and Netflix is now giving fans a chance to see more of the movements and formations.
The “How It’s Done” video is the first in a series of official choreography releases planned for the week. Netflix has announced that routines for other songs from the film, including HUNTR/X’s “Golden” and “Takedown,” as well as the Saja Boys’ “Soda Pop” and “Your Idol,” will also be released through Tudum and Netflix’s social media channels.
Netflix is also planning special episodes featuring the original choreographers demonstrating the signature poses and formations. These tutorials are scheduled to arrive on November 2, giving fans a closer look at the dance moves behind the songs that helped make KPop Demon Hunters a global hit.
