Post Malone has given fans a preview of a new song believed to be titled “Bad Mood,” offering another hint that his upcoming album, The Eternal Buzz, could bring back the melodic hip-hop sound that helped build his career.

The American singer and rapper shared a video on Instagram on October 28, 2026, showing him enjoying the unreleased track. His caption included the words “eternal buzz coming soon” and the hashtag #badmood, pointing to the song’s possible title.

The snippet features melodic vocals and trap-style production similar to the sound heard on his earlier albums, including Stoney (2016) and Beerbongs & Bentleys (2018). The preview has added to expectations that his next project will explore his hip-hop roots again after his recent move toward country music.

Post Malone released Austin in 2023 before following it with F-1 Trillion in 2024, an album that leaned heavily into country music. His next project could bring together different parts of his musical style, although its final sound and tracklist have not been fully confirmed.

The Eternal Buzz was initially presented as a double album with 40 songs. However, during a performance at the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix, Post suggested the project could contain around 50 tracks. He has not announced an official release date.

Earlier in 2026, Post also delayed the start of his Big Ass Stadium Tour by about three weeks, explaining that he needed more time to finish the new music he had promised fans.

For now, “Bad Mood” remains a preview rather than a confirmed full single release. Fans are waiting for further details about The Eternal Buzz, including its release date, final tracklist and the other artists who may appear on the project.
